CAS-ual Fridays Challenge 124

www.cas-ualfridays.blogspot.com

Let's see your New Years projects!

Since the New Year starts with a countdown, let's count the minutes it takes to complete your project.  If you can do it in 10 minutes or less, you can play at 10 Minute Craft Dash too!

This super simple card took me:

Whew, barely made it!  I had to use my Silhouette and had some issues cutting the numbers...all my fault, the Silhouette is fabulous.

This challenge lasts for 2 weeks so you have gobs of time to play.  Link your clean and simple New Year themed project at the CAS-ual Fridays blog for a chance to win a prize from CAS-ual Fridays Stamps!  WOOT!

Another CAS-ual Christmas card

I used essentially the same layout on this card as I did on this one, but went with a more rustic look by changing up the pattern paper.  This would be an easy card to mass produce for Christmas.

Have a great day!

Supplies:

The pattern paper is from Santa's List from Teresa Collins.  The star on the tree is one of the snowflake dies from Spellbinder's.  The Christmas tree is a die from Papertrey Ink.  Stamp set is Christmas Carols from CAS-ual Fridays Stamps.

CFC 120 and Curtain Call!

http://girlfridayheadquarters.blogspot.com/2013/08/cfc120-november-15-curtain-call-combo.html
CAS-ual Fridays has team up with Curtain Call to bring you a CAS-ual Christmas!

Your challenge is to create a clean and simple project using the Curtain Call inspiration picture.  You can enter your project in both challenges.

Isn't that sentiment gorgeous?  I love it and it's extra lovely embossed in gold.    The sentiment and the tree topper came from the Christmas Carols stamp set from CAS-ual Fridays Stamps...our sponsor this week!

Tags & Bags!

Click me!

Happy Friday!

This week's challenge is to create a CAS bag with a tag.

I used a the new Funky Round Tag Fri-Dies from CAS-ual Fridays Stamps (our sponsor this week!).  I have wanted a circle tag die for quite some time so I'm thrilled to have this one and I know I'll get lots of use out of this die set.

Ok, so let's talk about my tag.  I was going for a pumpkin dressed up as a bat for Halloween.  I had a horrible time with the eyes and the mouth.  I ended up letting my 9 year old choose the eyes because she said the eyes I had were too creepy. I tackled that mouth on my own...so, my pumpkin/bat looks a bit aggressive. LOL  I love it though!  It's a bit startling when you first look at it but it grows on you. It's a vampire bat. LOL

Check out the inspiration parade from the rest of the design team and link up your CAS bag with a tag for a chance to win a fab prize from our sponsor:

This is a 2 week challenge so you have tons of time to create something.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Terrific challenge this week... use a number or numbers in your clean and simple project.

I thought it would be cute to use the bomb fuse from a set called Ka-Boom (CAS-ual Fridays Stamps) to add a little pop to the number 10 on my card.  The 'Hoping your birthday is' sentiment is from another CFS set called Amazeballs

This week's challenge runs for 2 weeks so you have gobs of time to make several cards for this one!

Super duper cool sponsor this week...

Supplies
Stamps:  Ka-Boom & Amazeballs (CAS-ual Fridays Stamps)
Ink:  Wet Cement, Pale Tomato (Hero Arts).  Black (Pallette)
Number 10 was cut with my Silhouette machine.

CFC 106: Over the Edge

CFC106

TGIF!!  This week you are challenged to create a CAS project with panels or elements that go off the edge.

The colors look off in the photo.  The scalloped rectangle is actually not orange, it's melon colored and more closely coordinates with the pattern paper.  I could not get the colors to photograph properly.
I know 2 people turning forty in the near future so this card is very much needed right now.  My husband turns 40 next month and I'm looking forward to making a special card for him.

I trimmed my usual A2 card size down so that even with the panel hanging over the edge of my card base, it will still fit in an A2 envelope.

I used the WTF stamp set from CAS-ual Fridays Stamps--our sponsor this week!

The Bomb

I love this set from CAS-ual Fridays Stamps It's called Ka-Boom.  When I saw it during the latest release festivities, I knew I had to have it.  I'm thinking my hubby will get this card one day.
