Christmas Gnome

It's been a long time since I inked up the cute little Gnomies stamp set from Sweet Stamp Shop...unfortunately it looks like it's no longer available to purchase.

Today's card is a CASE of a previous card I made--see it here.  I had it on my mind to re-do it as a Christmas card. I dressed up the gnome as Santa and added some snow at the bottom of the door.

I'm linking this card up for the current Simon Says Stamp challenge 'Let it Snow'.

Have a great day!

Pattern Paper : Bundled Up (Crate Paper) and Magical (Studio Calico)
Door shaped card is my own design and I'll try to link it up here soon.
Door knob/keyhole and wreath are from the Silhouette Store
Liquid Applique for the beard.

Aaaargh, it's time to party

My niece and nephew are having their 3rd birthday party today and so far, I have made them a birthday card that matches the theme of their party.  This year it's pirates.

I bought a pirate flag cut file from the Silhouette store and turned it into a card.

Have a wonderful day!

Sentiment stamp is from Hero Arts and skull/cross bones stamp is from an old Inkadinkadoo set.

Flowers and Chevrons. Chevrons and Flowers.

Happy Friday!

Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to incorporate chevrons and flowers into your clean and simple design.

I cut a cake shaped card with my Silhouette and blew the dust off my chevron dies. The flower was last week's free shape in the Silhouette store.

The chevrons are cut from gold, shimmery cardstock--you can't see the shimmer well in the photo.

Sponsor this week is super cool.  The winner will get a $25 gift certificate to Ellen Hutson!
