Seize the Sketch # 20 ...brightly!

Is this a bright card or what? :)  I love this Mama Elephant set called We Click.

Pulled out my neglected Copics to color the camera.  I'm in such a watercolor frenzy right now I tried to watercolor it on regular cardstock--I laid down some ink with my copic marker and promptly grab a water color brush and tried to move that ink around...it did not work out so I had to start over. :)

I took some liberties with the sketch but I still think you can see the sketch in there.

Have a great day!

A big wish for my big sis

I used the current Card Patterns sketch to make my sister's birthday card. I'm also entering this card in the Moxie Fab 'Gray is the new Black' challenge.  I went with a soft gray and purple color scheme, which I love at the moment.

I usually pick on her age pretty good because she's 10 years older than me but I decided to be nice this year and make her something simple and classy.
The lacey circle is textured, which you can't really see in the photo.  The flower was made with my Cricut using  the Plantin School Book cartridge.

Here's a link to the card pattern and the decorative mats in PDF.
