One layer thank you

I have quite a few thank you cards to send and needed something simple and one layer.  I LOVE the linen side of the linen & canvas impression plate from Papertrey Ink. I haven't even tried the canvas side yet.

Sorry for the crappier than usual pics.  I had to give up a light bulb so my daughter could see in her bathroom and I'm having trouble remembering to buy light bulbs when I go shopping. 

Supplies:  All supplies from Papertrey Ink unless otherwise noted... Beautiful Butterflies stamp set, Pure Poppy & Summer Sunrise Ink, Linen & Canvas impression plate, White cardstock.  Memento Tuxedo black ink.

Finally!

Have you ever made a card and messed it up somehow (ink smudge, crooked sentiment, etc.) and made another one only to mess it up too? Well, that's what I did with this card. This is the 4th card. Yes, I said 4! After the third one I almost gave up thinking I just wasn't meant to make this card. I actually messed this one up too but the ribbon is hiding the ink smudge. Oh, and I couldn't knot the ribbon worth a darn either. I had to keep re-doing that too and ended up with this ugly knot. I don't care. I'm going with it!

I like the card and think it looks better in person. That Raspberry Fizz just doesn't photograph well without proper lighting, which I don't have. I got a re-inker for my Aqua Mist ink pad and am so happy that I did. You can actually see the ink now!

Coffee invitation and Happy Halloween!

This card looks so much better in person. I took several shots of it in different locations and I just can't do it justice. In person it's very bright, crisp and clean. I love to do one layer invitations. One layer makes it so much easier to mass produce and most people just throw it in the trash anyway. This is a new PTI set called Warm Happiness. The "You're invited to" sentiment comes from another PTI set called Warm Hospitality and it includes several words in the set for only $5.
