Olivia's Card

I made this card for a friend who recently had a baby. I wanted to personalize it a bit so I used the letters in the baby's name to make a pattern on the main panel with the middle part actually spelling her name. Does that make sense? I'm not very articulate this morning.

I used a clear alphabet set from Inkadinkadoo and I don't think I'll go back to rubber alphas. It's so easy to see where you are putting the letter. This alpha stamps nice but the Martha Stewart alpha I bought does not and I won't be buying any of her stamp sets again. I want the alphas from PTI and will get them over time. You can put the letters side by side to spell a word and the spacing is perfect betweent the letters. The MS set and the Inkadinkadoo set are not like that. I used a scallop stamp from SU's So Many Scallops and the welcome cirle is from a SU hostess set called Riveting.

Have a wonderful weekend!

  1. What a great card!! Did you stamp the letters individually? I've got to try this! Thanks for the inspiration.
