Spellbinder's contest

First, check out my daughter's blog. She made a cute project yesterday.
Spellbinder's is hosting a gallery contest on Splitcoast so go over there and check out the details. Obviously you have to use a spellbinder's product and I used a Labels 2 die. The base of this card and the ribbon treatment design idea is from the Friends 'til the End Quick Kit. You can go to Papertrey Ink's website and download the idea pdf free. You can see the background stamping by clicking on the picture. It's not showing up well.

I love using a card base of 4.25 x 4.25 these days. I like the square look and the ability to use a standard A2 card envelope. I took a picture of this card in one of my SU clear envelopes so you can see that even though the ribbon treatment sticks out far beyond the card that it still fits perfectly in a normal size envelope.

Supplies: PTI white and dark choc cardstock, PTI dark choc ink, Colorbox chestnut roan ink, 1" circle punch and Slit punch from SU, Labels 2 nestie, October Afternoon patterned paper, PTI ripe avocado ribbon and PTI vintage button, dark choc twine for ribbon, Owl is a studio g $1 stamp, PTI Friends 'til the end stamp set.
