Have you had your fruit today?

I love SU's Tart & Tangy stamp set but have a problem with what sentiments to use with it. Anybody have any ideas? If you have this set, what do you use for sentiments?

This first picture is a close up of the cherries on my card. I used the cherry image from SU's Tart & Tangy and added some embossed circles using SU's small circle punch (the really small one). I wanted to add a little texture to the card and make the cherries stand out a bit more.

I love the fresh colors of this card. I used PTI's Spring Rain as my card base and the scalloped square is SU's Bashful Blue. In person, you can barely tell the difference between the two colors. Spring rain is a bit richer but barely. Bashful Blue ink is fabulous with Spring rain cardstock. I edged the scallop square with PTI vintage cream ink to give a soft look and so the scallop wouldn't disappear on the card base. The sweet sentiment comes from SU's So Very stamp set. Sorry for the weird looking photo. My redneck light box (white foam core board and some white tissue) wasn't working so well on this card. This is my cheesy card that's cute. I got this idea in my head a couple of days ago and finally made the stinkin'card. The background and sentiment are computer generated. I left it pretty plain so the background would stand out.

  4. what cute cards! how clever to make your own bg on the compy!

honestly - I have this set HAD to have it in fact, and have never inked it up. nope, NEVER!!! yep, shame on me! so I'm no help whatsoever on the sentiments.

I bet there are some cute ones in the Many Happy Returns set though. That is one of my 'go to' sets all the time. I did separate each stamp and mount them all on Jenga blocks. much more versatile for me and I don't have to worry about trying to ink individual ones that way.
