PTI Swatch Book

First I want to say thank you to all my friends who worried with me and then congratulated me on my Papertrey Ink GSS win. I'm so excited to be a guest designer on the template idea download and can't wait to see what My Timeless Templates has in store for June. Speaking of June...The contest for June is now open, so what are you waiting for? Get your Timeless Template ready and enter. You could be the next winner!

Did you see the PTI Newsletter this morning? Lisa Johnson made a fabulous swatch book and I decided to make one for myself. I have a SU version that Angela gave me back when I was a SU demo and I enjoy having that on hand. Mine is very simple for a reason. I'm messy and often lose things in my craft room, so this needed to be cute yet be able to stand up to being tossed around. It also had to stand out which is why I threw every color in the rainbow on it. I bet that button won't last a week. LOL

I used a scallop rectangle nestablitie to make the cover and used a 3/4" circle punch to cut out the letters. I used PTI's fresh alphabet and some berry sorbet bitty dot dp. No project is complete with some ribbon and a swipe of vintage cream ink around the edges.

I like to save the cardboard inserts from 12x12 paper packs and use them to make my own chipboard pieces. While not as sturdy as chipboard, it's sturdy enough for many projects.

Don't forget the Digiments contest--you still have this weekend to enter!

Have a great Memorial Day weekend!

  1. Such a great idea to make it bigger! I made a couple of these (SU! and PTI) a while back, but I only used a 1 inch sqare. I find that I never use them. I also liked Lisa's idea to stamp the VersaMark right on the swatch. Yours is cute and bright! Love the bitty dot ribbon!

  3. I made a not-so-fancy swatch a while back, using smaller squares. This morning I was looking for it, since I was headed to town, and the scrapbook store, and I can't find it anywhere. Maybe this larger size is a good idea ;) I love it for buying patterned paper, especially, so I don't end up with thing that don't match anything!

  15. This is a super cute idea! I use WAY too many different products. I did do this with all my inks though. It makes it so much easier when working on a project. Plus the color on the package is not always the color it stamps!
    TFS!!!!
    Congrats to you superstar!!!!!
