Kind of an Easter project... maybe..sort of...

I had an idea to turn my Hey Cupcake template into a chicken coop.  I found some wire mesh in the basement and had hubby cut it into squares for me and I adhered them on the inside with score tape.  I cut my template and the windows with my Cricut but you could use a nestie or a craft knife to make some windows.  I did scale down the template to 75-80% of the original size--I cut the template awhile ago and can't remember.

I scored some lines on the template with my scor-pal and distressed with vintage cream ink (PTI).  The tin roof uses thin metal sheets made by QuiKutz and I embossed with a cuttlebug folder.

After I got the box put together, hubby tells me that chicken coops are colorful, because they are usually built/painted/repaired with whatever is hanging around, and my coop was...blah.  So I painted it with various colors of ink.  I put some gumball eggs inside that my youngest daughter is dying to get her hands on.
