TGIF!

Happy Friday everyone!  I got my new Papertrey Ink order in yesterday afternoon and immediately made this card.  I used the new Delightful Dahlia stamp set and coordiating dies.  Let me tell you how AWESOME it was to not have to hand cut the flower and leaves.   I can't convey how much I love this new Green Boutique pattern paper. It's even prettier in person.  The new color, Hawaiian Shores, is a must have too!  Gorgeous!

The photo below is a color comparison for you to give you a idea of how Hawaiian Shores compares to other shades. In person it's more of a green turquoise than a blue and even more so when you hold it next to Tempting Turquoise.  It's actually closer to SU's Bermuda Bay (only much lighter) even though it may not seem so in my photo.  Click on the photo for a better view of the colors.

Guess what I get to do today?  More cleaning! UGH  My kids and I are messy creatures.

I don't think it's very fair, however, that you've already gotten your order. Maybe, just maybe, I'll get lucky today. Last release I had to wait until Monday...ugh!

And oh gee darn it- I just saw in your profile that you live near Knoxville. We lived in Knoxville from 2005-2008-- and it was impossible to find crafty friends there. Wish I had know you then!
