Argyle is in the house!

Got my Papertrey Ink order this morning and made this quick and simple card using a sketch from Chapter 6 in the awesome, awesome Go to Sketches special issue from Papercrafts.    I stayed true to the sketch and used stitching in lieu of another panel.  Ok, so I didn't line up the stamp so well.  I'm blaming it on the Lemon Tart ink--it was hard to see through the acrylic block!

Thanks for dropping by!

Supplies:  All from Papertrey Ink unless otherwise noted...Kraft and white cardstock, pure poppy button, lemon tart pigment ink, sentiment from Enjoy the Ridge, A Little Argyle stamp set.  Black ribbon is not PTI (not sure of the brand).  Memento Tuxedo black ink.

  10. That Lemon Tart ink actually stamped better than I would have thought. I tossed my old one - need to try the new one, I guess. That thread matches perfectly...and I love the lil' pop of red.

  12. Annie, I really like this. The stitching adds some spunk and the colors are festive. I think this is a great design for a masculine card. And isn't that Papercrafts mag just the best!
