Wish Big

Wild Flower Kids are sponsoring Jen Del Muro’s sketch challenge today and I thought I’d be a good little DT member and play along.  I’ve been seeing some black & white colored images lately using copics and LOVE that look so I thought I’d give it a go.

Wish BIGThe bling looks better in person and not so crooked—why do all the flaws show up in the photo??? I used white, Soft Stone and Smokey Shadow cardstock and added a bit of color with the candles. WFK images used are Birthday Cake with candles and wish big sentiment.

While you’re out in blogland, visit The Wild Flower Patch blog to see more creations with this sketch and we’ve got a sketch challenge of our own going on for several more days—we’d love it if you used WKF images but it’s not required and hey, you could win some stuff by playing along!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!

Annie

Supplies: Soft stone and Smokey shadow cardstock from Papertrey Ink.  Button from Papertrey Ink.  Copic markers used w1, w3, w5, w7.  Black embroidery floss.  SU border punch.

  1. This is my first time seeing the B&W look. I like the pop of color. Bling crooked? It's supposed to be that way. And yes, the photos bring our all the flaws - at least in my cards! Thank you for the twine, ribbon and card!!! OMG, I have an original by Leigh Ann :>) Love that ribbon, it ties so easily...just need to save until I find the perfect card (or template).
