Wild Flower Wednesday: Polka Dots

Today’s challenge at The Wild Flower Patch is Polka Dots!  Who doesn’t love polka dots??

WFWC polka dots

I used the Cupcake with candles image and layered about 15 of them to get this gob of cupcakes.  Wish I had one now…they are chocolate with chocolate frosting.  Yum!

I think something may be off with my camera. My cards sometimes look…warped and they are not like that in person.  See how the card looks bowed in the middle?  Anybody else have this issue?  In person, this card is flat and not bowed at all.

Ok, enough complaining from me.  I hope you will participate this week for a chance to win some stuff from the Wild Flower Patch store.  Check out all the details at The Wild Flower Patch blog and see what the other DT members created for this challenge.

Have a great day!

  1. I can definitely see the bowing. That is quite odd! It is like a wide angle lens look. Do you have some sort of setting like that on your camera? Or fisheye?

  5. Fun, fun, fun! Cupcakes and buttons, what more could a girl ask for? As for bowing...just check out one of my pics I posted last night. I took the pics during the day and edited at night so I said forget it about retaking it. Not sure what the heck I am doing either...too close??? Oh well, still a fab card!

  13. hi there, love how you did the cupcakes - this is really cute! wonderful paper combo too!
my pics used to do that and a photo student told me I was too close - she said to take my pics back at least two feet and use the zoom feature on camera or wait and when I crop pic it will enlarge without the bowing effect - and both ways worked! hope that helps
    hugs
