Wild Flower Wednesday

The challenge this week at The Wild Flower Patch is a sketch.  I made a card using Birthday LilyAnn and since I royally screwed up the coloring of the large gift LilyAnn was sitting on, I decided that she should be sitting on a cloud.

I also want to show you the card I made for last week’s Wild Flower Wednesday challenge.  I hurt my neck and was unable to color and actually had this card made before today but could not find my camera cord so I couldn’t upload it.  This is Surfer Reed and he’s super cute!  I had no clue what to do for a sentiment so I wrote Aloha with a sharpie.

While you are out surfing in blog land, check out what the design team made with the sketch at the Wild Flower Patch blog and I hope you’ll play with us this week for a chance to win some stuff from the store!

Have a great day!

  1. How creative!!! I absolutely LOVE them both! You genius, you! :)

  2. I love how she's sitting on the cloud and the cork rocks!

  3. She looks adorable sitting on that cloud!!! So clever:) That little surfer card is super cute with the cork and push pin! I wish my handwriting looked that good. I would never attempt to write on anything because it truly is HORRIBLE!

  4. Leigh Ann, both of your cards are simply amazing!! I loved how you cut out LilyAnn and sat her on a cloud...How cool is that!!! Really stunning stuff sweetie!! Xx

  5. I love that you "messed up" the coloring of the gift...she looks so cute up there on her cloud! Great job on both cards and thanks for the lovely sketch too! :O)

  6. Sitting on a cloud is a fabulous rendition of the stamp, so creative, the card is just pretty! Love the surfer guy too, and I also would have no clue for what's it to say, I think you did fine!

  7. These are really cute. I especially love the cork on the second one. Very cool cards...

  8. These are both adorable and I love the sentiment on each. The second that you wrote is just like a postcard - perfect!

  9. She's so cute sitting on her cloud! I really love the little surfer dude stuck to the corkboard though! You're just so dang creative!!
