Wild Flower Kids+Perfect Presentation= really cute stuff

I have less than 2 hours before I have to leave to take my girls to a birthday party and I literally just finished the gift boxes.  It’s a pool party and as soon as I finish this post I will dig furiously for their bathing suits. Nothing like the last minute!

I know I’m on the Wild Flower Kids DT and I know my templates are sold in the store…but seriously, WFK images are my go-to images when I need to make something for a kid (or a grown up!).  And since I have 2 elementary school age kids that get invited to birthday parties it’s nice to be able to print out an image and run with it. I do have both rubber stamp sets from WFK and those are nice if I want to stamp on something like cork.

Boy TagI made this very simple Favor Box and stamped Skater Sage on to a die cut piece of cork that I adhered to a white piece of cardstock (so we could write on the back).

Next up is Flower Fairy Daisy paired up with the Hey Cupcake template to make this cheery gift for the birthday girl.  I left her wings bare so I could add some glue and glitter in the hopes that nobody would notice that I can’t color hair worth a darn.  It’s ok. I’ve come to terms with it.  I die cut a butterfly and used it for a tag.Maya's Box front  Maya's box side viewMaya's box top view

The party this afternoon is for a set of twins and I decided to give them both the same gift of a box of assorted candy with money on top.  My kids love to get money and since I spent an hour wandering the toy and craft aisles at Target this morning … money it is! I have girls and cannot shop for a boy!  I just don’t know what boys like.

Thanks for stopping by!  I need to go shower so I don’t embarrass my kids at the party.  Have a wonderful weekend!

Supplies : from PTI—Beautiful Blooms pattern paper, butterfly dreams stamp set, butterfly die, simply chartreuse cardstock and button, hawaiian shores cardstock, kraft cardstock, rustick white cardstock.  Cork from Karen Foster Designs. twine from May Arts, ribbon from AC Moore.

  6. These are both adorable, and I'm sure they were a huge hit at the party!!! I need to do that more often, and just give money. My daughter loves to receive money too so she can buy her Webkinz and Club Penguin stuff:) Coloring hair is definitely the hardest! I still break out in a nervous sweat when I get to that part LOL!

  9. I love the tags on both of these. The cork is a fun idea, and I've never thought of a butterfly for my tags. I will definitely file that idea away! I'm sure the money was a huge hit, I know it always is with my kiddos!

  10. I love it - I'm comment number 13 on all these!!
Cuteness! The stamping on the cork is fab and perfect for a boy. The only person that cares about your inability to color hair is yourself...I'm coming to terms with it myself too! The gift is perfect with candy, money and glitter!!
