Scrapbook pages

I am forcing myself to start scrapbooking again.  I have 9 albums + some mini albums full of memories on my shelf but haven't really scrapbooked since I discovered stamping.  Recently, we pulled out an album and looked through it and I realized that I need to re-discover scrapbooking.  I'm going to digi scrapbook because it's quick and creates no mess.  I don't have to have photos printed, crop them,  etc.

This layout is simple, but I've always been a simple scrapper anyway.  I prefer to have the pictures be the focus instead of the decorations.  I will probably start doing fancier titles, but for now, I'm happy that I've got some pages completed.  When I get a nice group saved, I'll have them printed and add them to my scrapbook.

I've been gathering free digi scrapping stuff for quite a long time and now it's time to use them.  I recently bought several templates from Jessica Sprague.com and they make doing a page so easy!  Jessica also has $1 Wednesday where you can snag some nice digi stuff for a buck!

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend!

  4. These are great! I should start doing digi scrapbooking too. The last real page I made of Emilia was years ago. Thanks for the inspiration.

  5. I had exactly the same line of thinking, about a year ago...go for it....so much faster....I was getting overwhelmed with 17 grandkids to scrap, and going digi was the answer!

  6. Simple, yet I love how you layered the photos. Hmmmm, maybe this is the way to go. I have been so anti-scrap booking lately and yet I know it will mean so much to my kids.
