I decided to participate in K Werner's color inspiration challenge. The colors are bashful blue, so saffron, certainly celery and close to cocoa. I decided that bashful blue would be my main color since I had the patterned paper to go with it. This card is 5.5 x 5.5 and it's seems huge in person! I criss crossed the ribbon because I have been using 5/8" ribbon and I wanted to add some bulk to the skinny ribbon.
Supplies by Stampin Up: close to cocoa, so saffron, certainly celery, whisper white cardstock. Bashful blue classic ink and black stazon. Certainly celery grosgrain ribbon. Rhinestone brad and lots of stampin dimensionals. Photo corner and ticket corner punch. Mat pack for piercing. Stamp sets: Warm words and Fabulous Flowers. Cutie Pie designer series paper.
Your blog is so lovely! Stop by and visit mine sometime :-)
ReplyDeleteWow, I really like your card. I ended up submitting an OK card, but funny thing, I had thought about submitting another using this DP!!! Now I won't. Very good job.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card! I love the detail! I have you in my favorites because I like your style...~Donna
ReplyDeleteI love how you layered the flower, and great tip about criss-crossing the ribbon so it doesn't seem so skinny!
ReplyDeleteI love to see how we all take an idea and run with it and everyone's turns out different but beautiful. I love how you used the colors and how you criss crossed the ribbon.
