First, my daughter made this card and I am very proud of her. She used Versamark and glitter and just about every sticker she owned. I love it and I told her I would put it on my blog.
My friend Angela wrote about a new bakery in town called The Cupcakery on her blog. Today I found myself without kids and nothing to do except clean and do laundry, so I jumped in my minivan and headed off to the big city. As I was perusing the bookstore, a little voice in my head said, “You’re near The Cupcakery.” As I was devouring this huge cupcake in the AC Moore parking lot, I thought, “Angela is the devil”. Now you’re probably thinking that it’s not Angela’s fault I ate that ginormous cupcake, right? She didn’t physically force me to The Cupcakery and she didn’t physically shove that beautiful, cool and creamy Lemon Drop cupcake down my throat, right? Well, she planted The Cupcakery seed in my mind and isn’t that what the devil does? (I'm having Church Lady flashbacks)
All kidding aside, and I am kidding Angela, that cupcake was fabulous and I am so glad I went. When I walked in the door, I found myself in cupcake heaven--Literally. The whole place is white and I expected to hear a chorus of angels singing at any moment. What made this cupcake stand out from every other cupcake I’ve had is the squirt of lemon filling inside. It was like finding buried treasure. So, now it’s my turn to be a devil and tempt you to go to The Cupcakery. If you are in the Knoxville area don’t forget to get a Lemon Drop cupcake before they are gone!
Oh and to further praise Ms. Angela, look at the gifts she sent me. I just love them! Angela made the card using her Just Rite Monogram Stamper (I want one sooooo bad). I love the colors she used on the post it note keychain and look forward to showing it off. Thanks again, Angela and if you’re reading this, I have a little something for you when I see you in a few days.
I agree- that Anglea is BAD!!! I feel for you- I had to leave the state!!!
ReplyDeleteI am so just joking!! She is a good person to know~~~
Hi :)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the comment on my blog! I'm so glad you enjoyed the books =) So far I have read "Who Will Take This Man" "Whirlwind Wedding" and "Not Quite A Gentleman" by D'Allesandro and I fell head over heels for them!! They were all amazing and if you enjoyed "Sleepless At Midnight" you will definitely like these! Also, "Suddenly You" by Lisa Kleypas is another great book (although I prefer Mine Till Midnight, it is still a wonderful read!)
A book I am currently working on is Elizabeth Hoyt's "To Taste Temptation" which you might like to look into if you enjoy D'Alessandro's "Who Will Take This Man?"
Sorry this is such a long post lol...
Hope you enjoy the books!!!!
Cherie =)
