Cookies and a Card

Mmmm...hot and fresh from the oven. Can you smell them? These are thick and chewy chocolate chip cookies and they remain thick and chewy even after they have cooled. I like my cookies to be approximately the same size and I find using a cookie scoop really helps. For this size cookie, I use a 2tbsp scoop from Pampered Chef.
So, which cookie do you want?

My husband will be so happy when he gets home. I wonder if he'll be okay with having cookies for dinner...

Ok, I finally made a card. I saw a card like this on splitcoast and I can't remember the talented gal who made it. I don't think I saw a card in her gallery that didn't have embossing on it--I'll look up her info and add it to this post later. I lightly colored with watercolor pencils and a blender pen. I used a SU marker in Barely Banana to do the yellow parts--my yellow pencil tip was broken and I haven't been able to find a sharpener in weeks. I used some ribbon that I won from a blog tart given by stamping royalty, Jen del Muro.
