I saw some cute acrylic frame Christmas ornaments on someone's blog recently. While I can't remember the blog, I do remember it was connected to Papertrey Ink's Christmas release. PTI sells these cute acrylic frames (3.25 x 3.25) and I decided to make my own version using a transparency sheet and my Wishblade. If you don't have a wishblade you could use square Nestabilites or plain old ruler and scissors/craft knife (ugh). I stamped on the transparency with White Stazon using PTI's polka dot basics set. I used a 1" circle punch folded in half and threaded with ribbon to hold the frame together with the cardstock. I didn't want to adhere the clear frame to the cardstock portion because I didn't want the adhesive to show. It is ok to adhere the half circle to the frame before you thread your ribbon. This was a very easy project.
The people in the picture are my brother and his beautiful wife, Carmen, with her glorious Pantene Hair. Oh and don't forget to notice my adorable nephew Jackson. I am giving this ornament to Carmen and hopefully she'll remember to hang it on her tree when I come over.
