CPS 108 Mother's Day Card

This is my take on CPS sketch 108. I used my scor-pal to emboss on the side and the bottom and pulled out an old set from SU called Because of You. I stamped Happy Mother's Day inside and plan on giving this to my mother this year. I know it doesn't contain a beautiful, mushy poem that's so common in Mother's Day cards, but I don't do mushy. Mushy makes me feel...weird. I know, I've got mush issues. This card looks better in person. I had a terrible time getting a good shot of it.

Thanks for stopping by and join me tomorrow evening for Papertrey Ink's Blog Hop!

  1. Good thinking! The scoring adds a different twist.

  2. Thanks so much for playing along with the CPS sketch this week. I am so thrilled to be the sponsor and I am having a lot of fun playing along with the sketches too on my own blog – http://allamericanstampers.blogspot.com. Hope you can check them out!

How funny that we both used scoring on our sketches...but I like how you put in some extras. And that ladybug crawling on the stem is adorable! :)

  3. LOVE YOUR COLORS...great card form the sketch

  4. Oh how I love your card! LOVE those score lines, great idea - and LOVE those flowers! Great use of that CPS sketch.

  5. This is a gorgeous card! I love your take on the challenge!
