My SIL (who doesn't really read my blog...I know, shame on her!) has a birthday coming up in a few days and she's turning 30. She loves stamping but doesn't have the time to do it since she had a baby and works full time. I love making cards and things for her because she appreciates it and won't throw it away! I decided to make her a set of stationery cards and it gave me a chance to use my Simply Stationery set from Papertrey Ink. The notecards are 4.25 x 5.5 and I printed her name and
from the desk of using the computer. Simply Stationery has a
from the desk of stamp in the set but I didn't have an alphabet to stamp her name, so that's why I just used the computer for all of it. I used strips of patterned paper from the Black & White set from Papertrey Ink as well as New Leaf cardstock and ribbon. I also used a template I purchased from PTI for the stationery holder. I'm going to include envelopes but am still deciding what I want to do with those. Gosh, I hope she likes green!
Please check out my
daughter's blog as we've posted another of her amazing drawings. If you feel inclined to leave her a comment it would really make her day. She's only 7 and comments tickle her more than they do me! I'm thinking it's almost time for some blog candy, so watch out for that.
Thanks so much!
Your set is so beautiful!! I know Carmen will love it!! I can't believe she's just now 30 - YIKES! Do you LOVE New Leaf? Is there a SU! green that it compares to? I was thinking Wild Wasabi. Thanks for posting so early - I may CASE this today . . .
