I used the grid pattern from Guidelines and images from Simply Stationery to make a Guidelines 2 inspired background. Since I don't have Guidelines 2 yet, I had to make my own version. Ink colors I used are Landscape, Dark Chocolate, Aqua Mist and Raspberry Fizz. Cardstock and ribbon are New Leaf. 
This card uses a set I love called Quilter's Sampler. For this Mother's Day card, I was going for trendy and bold. Are you surprised to see that I used Raspberry Fizz?? I really like the Raspberry Fizz pattern paper and it's so easy to use Quilter's Sampler with pattern paper and a 3/4" square punch.
