SG12--Sassy Studio Designs

It's time for another Sketch Girl sketch challenge and this sketch is sponsored by Sassy Studio Designs One random participant who links up their creation using Sketch #12 by 9 pm EST February 27th will win 4 digi images of their choice from Sassy Studio Designs.

Sassy Studio was kind enough to give the design team some images to play with and I used Cocoa Carol.  I wanted the chair to have the look of upholstery so I added some patterns to it in Photoshop Elements which you could also achieve by paper piecing.  I also colored her pants in PSE too.  I printed it out and finished coloring the image with Copics--which I now pronounce as COP-like the police-- ICS.  Thanks for that Alyssa.

Instead of the circle element, I went with the ransom note looking sentiment that I love so much.

Please check out what the talented design team has made with this sketch.

Guest Designer this month, Amy Tsuruta.

I woke up to a winter wonderland this morning and it's beautiful!  I don't watch much TV and I rarely watch the news, so the snow was a bit of a surprise. LOL  I usually hop online and check the weather forecast here and there so I make sure my kids are dressed appropriately, but since they had a long weekend off from school I didn't check the weather at all.

Have a wonderful Monday!

  1. You are a photoshop master! Where do you learn all your tricks? I think you actually pronouce Copics right and I'm the one that pronounces it wrong like cop - ics. I can't change it no matter how hard I try though...it's like my MIL who says flustrated. Drives Doug crazy!
Anyway, your card is awesome! I love the big ribbon and your sweet little sentiment. Very fun, graphic card!
