Make it Monday #98: Chalkboard technique

I adore the chalkboard technique!  Here's my attempt at the technique for Papertrey's Make It Monday #98.
 I wanted it to look like the wall behind the couch was decorated with chalk.  It didn't turn out quite like I envisioned but I like it.

    I haven't tried this technique yet, but I love it too! Super cool card! I just got a random idea to try too...hmm, may have to spend a little time in the cave today!

    Great results! The couch is such a pop of color. I have not tried this yet because I am guessing it involves embossing!
